There have been several other people on my dashboard today that are feeling blue, so I thought I’d renew my offer of if you ever want/need to talk, I’d be happy to listen. my ask box is open, you can call or text me at 1-608-797-5301, or email at funkyflashfive@gmail, or I’m colinandrewjohnson on skype.

just bringing this back, because it seems like a good time for it.

and yet again, because I mean this.

Hey guys! I’m going to be doing a free darkroom print giveaway! On Friday, March 23rd, I will announce one winner who will receive an 8x10 print, and three others who will receive a 5x7 print. All you have to do is reblog this post (as many times as you want), and I will select the winners at random :)

Making use of Caliber 849RSQ with a record-breaking 1.85 mm height and 128 parts, just considering the difficulty of making this movement into a skeletonized structure is mind-boggling and in itself an impressive accomplishment. Jaeger-LeCoultre rightfully called it a “steel labyrinth with two finely crafted faces.”

I’m starting to think this is the single coolest watch ever

The Unlikely Best-Seller: ‘A Wrinkle In Time’ Turns 50
Imagine, for a moment, that you’re a publisher hearing a pitch about a children’s book whose tangled plot braids together quantum physics, fractions and megaparsecs (a measure for distances in intergalactic space). The book also casually tosses out phrases in French, Italian, German and ancient Greek. Sound like the next kids’ best-seller to you?
It didn’t to the many publishers who rejected Madeleine L’Engle’s A Wrinkle in Time, which turns 50 this year. The novel was an immediate hit with young readers and with critics when it was published, and it won the Newbery Medal in 1963. Since then, it has remained a beloved favorite of children and adults alike.
But it almost didn’t see the light of day. At the time, L’Engle already had six books to her name, but publishers were perplexed by her latest.

mulfordthedean replied to your post: What about Toronto?

But… but bagged milk exists in Minnesota. :(

I thought this was strictly a Canadian thing…

I’ll make an exception for Minnesota.

I mean, Minnesota is basically Little Canada, eh?

I dunno about that, but there is a town called Little Canada.

I’ve seen bagged milk, but I still think it’s weird. It’s not at all common or anything.

I’ve seen it here in Wisconsin, but almost exclusively in Kwik Trip gas stations.
